Metroid Prime and Wii de Asobu! Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes were released in place of the trilogy. It was released for the Wii in North America, Europe, and Australia. Metroid Prime: Trilogy is a limited-edition compilation set of the games in the Prime series: Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
